“She may have decided to leave most of her coat at home but certainly did not look her age of 8 years, good Siberian that has aged well, very attractive, if naked b/w piebald, lovely head so typical of the older Anadyr type dogs in the breed.... Absolutely sound construction, enabled her to move effortlessly around the ring, her extra femininity just gave her the edge”. |

PANDA |
Panda was one of Jenny Littlejohn's 'F' litter, as they were born on the 1st April they were all named Foolish. Originally living in Wales with Hazel & Barrie Smith, Panda joined our household as a five year old when the Smith's relocated to Holland. She arrived to live in a pack of 6 and had to be quickly integrated with our Alpha bitch Montreaux who was only a week away from producing our first litter. Panda (a previously kennelled girl) quickly delighted in discovering that there are settee's where you can lounge, and after conquering her initial fears of the spiral staircase, learned that upstairs was a bed that you could sneak up to if you were very careful! |
Whilst never our greatest working dog (she had been clocked running faster up a hill than down) she finally retired herself from any running at the beginning of the 2000/2001 season but was always quite happy to travel in the van and have walks at the races, ‘just don't show her a harness’! She was however a dab hand at running with the micro scooter and would tolerate the springer on the bike. Always happy in the show ring she made hard work of gaining her title taking 5 years to finish, although in fairness she was only ever lightly |
