STYE

As a puppy Stye was very mischievous & naughty at times. She learned how to climb the mesh & escape from the puppy pen when she was just a few weeks old. Sat in the living room, Bruce, Lyn & I were amazed to see this little black puppy looking at us from the conservatory when her brothers & sisters were fast asleep in the puppy pen.
Growing up fast, Stye took to the harness like a duck takes to water, even from the start she only wanted to run in lead position. At just over 12 months old she led my team around the trail & took every command as if she was a seasoned veteran. From there she went from strength to strength both on the trail and in the show ring.
Stye had a great sense of humour, in her early show career she did quite well, but she had a habit of leaping at the judge to lick them when they were trying to assess her movement.

If there ever happened to be a camera about, Stye would find it. Her favourite trick at rallies was to hunt the photographer.
