IVAN

Ivan was a very amenable and tolerant member of our large pack. When we were in the dog yard and the whole pack was out playing (our recreation as well as theirs), Ivan would wait until everyone else had been �up for a fuss� and then he would come up for his. If another dog (or person!) tried to butt in he would grumble, after all he had gave them space for their attention and now it was his turn and they should have some courtesy! Fuss completed - he had to play - and he did!!

Ivan loved to work, and any place in the team was okay except lead, it was just too tempting being at the front where he could see anything that he may desire to hunt.

He did, of course, enjoy his days out at shows, he seemed to consider them as his special outings and enjoyed it right up to the time I needed him to look alert and interested but by then the boredom factor had set in.
