“Nine years but certainly does not look it, in fact he seems to get younger and fitter as the years go on. The praise for this is surely due to the hard work of his owner who has obviously put a lot into the dog over the last few years and it’s certainly paid off. Lovely typical foxy head, friendly expression, earset high, moderately compact of medium bone, presented a well balanced picture. Good length of back, strong level topline, slight slope of croup. Tail carried in a correct sickle, well furred and brushlike, dense double coat. Moved so sound coming and going, when viewed from the side, covered lots of ground with excellent reach and powerful drive, in excellent hard condition. Truly a credit to his owner”.
